FOUR STARS The ambience at Silverlake Ramen is beautiful -- I love sitting outside, especially when it's a little chilly and they turn on the heated ceiling lamps. It feels super cozy and relaxing. The environment is clean, and the staff is kind and attentive. Our waters were always filled, and everything looked well-kept. As for the food -- the ramen is decent, but not amazing. I've tried the Truffle Ramen and the Blaze Ramen (mild) and both were just okay. The pork is tasty and tender, but the noodles and broth lack depth in flavor. The Blaze had heat but didn't give me that rich tonkatsu flavor I was hoping for. I'd personally rate the ramen a 3/5. The real star here is the Chicken Karaage Bowl. It's delicious, crispy, and actually a great deal for the price. The rice has flavor, the chicken is golden and crunchy, and the drizzle on top ties everything together. I got the regular size and it was perfect for a lighter meal, but if you're hungry, definitely go with the large -- the regular can feel a bit small. 5/5!! Just a heads up: if you order the ramen combo, the appetizer (like the karaage) is way smaller than ordering the appetizer by itself. I only got four pieces in the combo version (the picture) -- so don't expect the same portion regular appetizer. Overall, this is a great spot with chill vibes and great service. I'll definitely be back -- but next time, I'm skipping the ramen and going straight for that chicken karaage bowl! TL;DR: Beautiful ambiance with cozy outdoor seating and heated lamps. Ramen is okay, but the chicken karaage bowl is the real winner -- crispy, flavorful, and a great deal. Staff is friendly, service is good, and I'll be back for the chicken karaage, not the ramen.

Trying silver lake for the first time and here's what we ordered: * garlic truffle pork ramen * classic tonkatsu with pork * classic tonkatsu with chicken * veggie ramen * karage * karage bowl the ramen itself and broth is decent but i was not a big fan of their toppings. the meat is on the fatter side and truffle ramen came with shittake mushrooms i think, which was odd for ramen and i didn't like it. i usually like the black fungus mushrooms better. the veggies on top also didn't take the best. i don't think i would order that again the karage was pretty flavorful and the meat was tender. it took around 20 minutes to get seated but the food came out pretty fast

The place is small but you don't feel like crammed in. The service is fast and the ramen is really good! The meat eaters in the group didn't care for their ramen but the vegetarians enjoyed it. Overall the group would come back

Food: We had absolutely no complaints. It was very fresh and hot and so good! All the veggies were great and the base was perfect. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the meat was good and good texture. Also, for those who are picky with water. As I am lol. It's good water! Mine was spicy and they kept my water full the whole time. Service: Our waiter was very friendly and polite. He had a sense of humor which made our visit so great. He was very helpful with all of our questions. All the staff were very friendly. Outside: There is a good size patio, with heaters and the enclosure that I'm sure they close when it's cold! We first sat out there but it was during one of the windy days, they helped us move our stuff inside! Inside: They have a lot of seating! And it is very clean inside. They have a few bar seats too which might be fun. It seems like you could call and reserve a table, we saw a few people call and reserve a table (but it wasn't just when we were there) and they saved it for when they came! You sit down then order! They do have a restroom too.

The food here was really good!!! I will say this is a somewhat small space that I constantly see packed. I could see how sometimes there could be a wait. Luckily when we went on a monday night for dinner, there was no wait and we were seated right away. The servers were attentive and ramen came out super fast. Garlic truffle ramen was so delicious and rich flavor. The chicken karaage bowl took longer but my friend said that it was good. I will definitely try it next time. Overall I will come back because the prices were reasonable too.

Very tasty! I didn't order ramen but I ordered a grilled pork rice bowl. I loved the toppings on this bowl. The price was also very reasonable. It was $13 for the large sized pork bowl! My favorite part about it is that there is pickled onions on it! I absolutely love pickled onions so much. The flavoring on the pork is also very tasty and delicious my little sister really enjoyed it. The seating seems to be mainly outside which isn't so bad. But if you have a smaller sized party, you could potentially be sat inside. Parking nearby is metered, but there is also a parking garage and lot that is just a short walk away. The bathrooms here are clean. The staff is nice and the clientele isn't bad either.

Back again to my favorite ramen spot. I came with my family from out of town.we order the garlic truffle and the spicy options. Unfortunately, service was lacking. I signed up for the app which is awesome you get points at check in and freebies on your bday. I chose a free side for with my points and asked for a side egg and even thought The waitress said she added it to my order it never came. The same with my side of chili paste i ordered and didn't at first get it. I had to wait a while before the waitress came back. She then brought it, not to be rude or demanding but ramen gets cold and having to wait can make a difference. Usually I'm always very satisfied when I visit, I understand we have off days so I'm still a huge fan. Also it's was around 50 degrees tonight and it was so cold on the patio even with heat lamps so if you don't like to be cold I'd sit inside.

Solid ramen spot! I got the classic ramen with pork and it was great. The broth was creamy, savory, and umami. The veggies it were a great compliment to the rich broth. The pork belly was good, but a bit tough. I wish it was more of a melt in your mouth type of pork belly. I also loved the chicken karaage with the spicy mayo dipping sauce. The chicken was crispy and juicy and a squeeze of lemon on them was perfect. The interior was a bit unclean, the air seemed murky and the surfaces seemed greasy. The bathroom was also pretty unclean. I would suggest keeping the restaurant cleaner for an optimal experience for the diner. The service was also fine. I wish the server made it clear that we could pick up our to-go order from the counter instead of us just waiting until taking the initiative to pick it up.
